Hey beauties, so I finally got my mitts on the Huda Beauty 3D highlighter palette in golden sands edition. Eeeekkk I know the palette isn’t releasing in the UK until May, so I’m totally excited to share my views with you all.
Golden Sands Edition
Firstly the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. Like seriously it’s just on point. I’m a sucker for good packaging so I totally got sold on this. The golden sands edition is designed for medium/dark skin tones and has the following colours; Fiji, Seychelles, Thaiti & Zanzibar.
Applying the Huda Beauty 3D highlighter palette is really easy, because it comes with a step by step guide.
Prep: Firstly apply Fiji as a base across the cheek to smooth it out. The colour is really creamy and just glides across the cheeks.
Set: Next apply Seychelles across the cheek to set the base and bring that highlighter pop out. I loved using this colour because it really brightens your cheeks, it’s amazing.
Sculpt: Then apply Tahiti under your cheek, this step helps to define and structure the cheeks. This step is basically like contouring and the colour is deep with a bronze undertone.
Flush: Finally Zanzibar is added for a gorgeous glow. This colour completes the entire look.
After using the 3D palette I found that my cheeks just popped. What I loved most was that all the colours worked well together and the texture of each colour was really creamy so it just glided on effortlessly.
I applied Seyshells on my collar bones and shoulders as a body shimmer.
Overall I’m loving the Huda Beauty 3D highlighter palette. The only down side is that it take more time then usual to apply all the steps properly, but once done it’s definitely worth it and looks gorgeous. I love the fact that it can be used as a body shimmer on your collar bones, neck and shoulders.
The Huda Beauty 3D highlighter pallett is priced at £40 and will be available to buy in the UK from Cult Beauty in May. You can join the wait list at this link
