Happy New Year to all you beautiful girls. Wow it seems like forever since I wrote my last blog post! So in December before I went to Dubai, I was invited to the Murad skincare counter in Debenhams by Taj Sohal who’s the Business Manager at Murad. Taj invited me for a complimentary facial and to try out some of the Murad skincare products, I was super excited to see what Murad skincare was all about and couldn’t wait to try the products out.
When I arrived at Debenhams I made my way to the Murad skincare counter where I met Taj. I was introduced to Murad’s popular skincare range which is the essentials C range. This was the range that Taj used for my complimentary facial. The essentials C range is focused on replenishing, moisturising and adding radiance back into environmentally damaged skin. It’s perfect for anyone that’s looking for a skincare range that will repair skin and get it to its best state. What’s great about the Murad essentials C range is that it’s scientifically proven and not tested on animals.
So Taj started off with the Murad essentials C cleanser, which is an antioxidant rich cleanser. Taj massaged the cleanser into my skin in circle motions, the main purpose is to cleanse and rehydrate the skin. The cleanser has bursts of citrus in that really helps to remove purities and awaken skin. Once the cleanser was removed my skin felt fresh and clean.
Next Taj applied the Murad active radiance serum, this again was applied in circle motions onto my skin. The serum is very light weight and smells really fresh. The serum is supposed to rapidly boost radiance and reverse signs of environmental damage. After the serum was applied I felt like my skin looked brighter and more radiant.
Finally Taj applied the essentials C night moisturizer, the day one has SPF 30, so it’s specifically designed to protect skin from UVA/UVB rays as well as improving skins radiance and elasticity. The moisturizer is very rich and when Taj applied it to my skin I could really feel the moisturizer going deep into my skin.
After my facial my skin felt energized and fresh, and it felt really smooth. My skin immediately had a radiant glow and looked more clear. I have to admit I was quite impressed with the Murad essentials C range because I saw an immediate positive impact. Here’s a pic of my skin straight after my facial.
At the end of my facial Taj introduced me to some of the other Murad leading skincare ranges such as:
Murad Invisiblur protecting shield, this is a 2 in 1 serum and moisturizer and is super soft. After using this products I felt that my foundation just glided on top. It works really well as a seamless base for foundation. This is a great product for anyone that’s looking for a 2 in 1 moisturizer and serum.
Murad intensive radiance peel, this is basically an intensive treatment that brightens, smooths and restores radiance back into skin. Your suppose to massage it into your skin and leave it for 10 minutes before washing it off. I used this a few times and found that it really leaves your skin feeling soft and glowing.
At the end of my visit Taj put together a sample bag for me with all of the above products in. I have been using them over Christmas and New Year, and my favourites have to be the invisiblur protecting shield and essentials C cleanser. These two products have really suited my skin and are now apart of my skincare routine.
So the next time you girls are in Debenhams pop over to the Murad skincare counter and have a chat with them. Their products are definitely worth checking out.
And for those of you who live in Birmingham, I went to the Murad counter in Debenhams Bullring so give them a visit next time you go.
