I’m super excited about today’s post. I think I say that about all my posts lol. But today’s post is an exclusive look into my River Island Style Studio event that I hosted with River Island in Birmingham Bull Ring on the 25th February. It was a fabulous event full of fashion bloggers, food, drinks, trend talks, selfies and more. So here’s a breakdown of what went down on the day. River Island Style Studio

The event was held at the Style Studio at River Island, which is a VIP area that’s open to anyone who want’s a personal shopper / style service. The Style Studio is amazing because you get your own privacy to view and try the latest River Island collections along with advice from the style advisers. This is a complimentary service offered by River Island so it’s definitely worth checking out. We were hosted by the lovely Laura and Afsheen who are Style Studio advisers at River Island in Birmingham Bull Ring.

River Island Trend Talk

So we kicked off the Style Studio event with a fabulous trend talk. Laura and Afsheen gave us a breakdown of what’s hot for 2017.  Weather you’re into 2 piece sets, floral prints, or ruffle shirts, there’s something for everyone. Pastel nude colours seem to be on trend for 2017, along with embellished mule shoes and cute jackets. Leather and denim jackets are a must for any fashionista and go with almost any outfit.

My top style picks

All the girls had a trend talk on my top style picks from the River Island collection. My favourites was this trendy mesh t-shirt paired with some skinny jeans for a casual look. And for more of a chic look I went for some high wasited tapered trousers in pastel pink, paired up with a black snake skin blouse.

 

 

Who’s, who

All these beautiful fashion bloggers were invited to my event. They got to check out the latest collection and listen to the trend talks. We also managed to take some cheeky pictures throughout the day.
