Hi lovelies Happy Valentine’s day I hope you all get to spend it with the one you love.
So Abz and I headed down to Bicester Village over the weekend to spend the day shopping. I had a productive day of shopping including my Valentines present from Abz which was inspired by the catwalk trends ‘hand bags to carry spring/summer 2017.’ And I thought it would make a cute post to share what I got with you all.
Handbags to carry spring/summer 2017
I love my current céline tote bag which looks chic with a lot of outfits. But I’m heading to Paris next month so I wanted to opt for something a little more relaxed and effortless. And I saw that cross body bags are a key accessory on the spring/summer 2017 bag trends. Fashion definitely meets function with cross body bags as they make the ideal bag for traveling.
And this gorgeous Vivienne Westwood Divina cross body bag was exactly what I was looking for.
So I fell in love with this bag because you can wear it in so many different ways that keep your hands free. Now that’s a big deal for me because I’ve spent so many years carrying my bag elegantly placed on my elbow. It feels good to have both hands free. It’s a fabulous bag to transition from day to night, as it has an adjustable stap making it the perfect bag for Paris.
Rest it effortlessly on your shoulder for a more chic inspired look.
Wear it across your body for a more effortlessly casual look.
So this Vivienne Westwood bag is from the Divina collection. The range offers beauty and elegance in a simplistic design. The material is Saffiano leather which is a textured leather that was first established by house Prada in Italy. The bag I purchased comes in a variety of colours from red, pink, blue, grey and burgundy, and is priced at £227.
I think I have a new found love for cross body bags as it made the perfect Valentine’s Day gift from Abz. He definitely desvered a cheeky little kiss on the cheek. Lol his face.
I’d love to hear what you girls are doing for Valentine’s Day, or what you’re getting? you can leave your comments below.
